Extremely bad experience with China Airlines. Hong Kong – Taiwan (flight CI 922). At check-in, the stewardess (Charlotte W***) told us that we couldn’t take our flight. The reason she gave us is that our names on the booking didn’t match our passports. Our First Name and Family Name were correct. BUT, she said we had to put all our middle names as well with our First Names. Hence our tickets were unusable. Of course, modifying the booking online is not possible. Online, only 2 boxes called “Last Name” and “First Name”. No box for middle names. My first name contains an hyphen and I have commas between my middle names, the website does not accept special characters... At the counter not possible to amend our booking. ONLY 3 LETTERS. So she amended our son’s booking only. Actually, China Airlines CAN amend booking. Technically and regulatory. We finally bought new tickets, with fees, more expensive of course.
